The LFHS students qualified for state at the district meet held in McAllen Jan. 18. Forty-nine students participated.

LFHS was awarded Chapter of the Month for the month of November.

The LFHS and LFU students will be among nearly 4,800 Texas DECA students and advisors at the state conference scheduled Feb. 20-22 at the Sheraton Fort Worth and Fort Worth Convention Center. Students will take part in one of 50 different competitive events. 

Students will be competing for a chance to qualify for the International Career Development Conference at Nashville, Tenn. April 29-May 2.
