Administration

Mary Chavez serves the students at Rancho Verde Elementary as Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Mrs. Chavez has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2019. Throughout her 34-year career in public education, Mrs. Chavez has held numerous positions, including middle school English and Science teacher, Elementary Assistant Principal, High School Dean of Instruction, and Principal. Mrs. Chavez received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M Kingsville and her Master of Education from Lamar University in Beaumont.

Mrs. Rosalyn Martinez serves the students at Rancho Verde Elementary as Assistant Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.  Mrs. Martinez has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2022.  During her career in public education that began in 2010, she has served as a kindergarten teacher and first grade teacher in the private sector and as middle school RTI teacher and elementary administrator in the public sector.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree and Master in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) degree from The University of Texas at Brownsville.

Mrs. Norma Sandoval serves the students at Rancho Verde Elementary as Instructional Officer/Assistant Principal.  She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2000.

 

During her career in public education that began in 1997, she has served as a K-12 Special Education teacher, Assistant Principal at Laureles Elementary, Assistant Principal at Dora Romeo Elementary  and has been an Assistant Principal at Rancho Verde Elementary since 2015.

 

Mrs. Sandoval received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas - Brownsville and her Master of Education from The University of Texas - Brownsville.
